Resident locomotive at Eaton
Hall is replica Heywood locomotive "Katie"..
.. seen here entering the
terminus
station after passing through gate in hedge.
The canopied structure on left
is the railways original loading dock - the loco shed is on right.
Visiting Heywood replica loco "Ursula" on
shed being watered and having coal bunker
replenished.
"Ursula" is now almost ready to depart the terminus for the park.
"Ursula" now seen passing
through the
gate from terminus..
.. and taking the left hand
chord
on the triangle.
The second visiting loco
"Effie"
(from Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway) passes through gate
and the driver has just exchanged the token with
signalman.
"Ursula" circumnavigating the
cricket ground with her short but interesting train.
"Effie" seen in distance with
open carriage and brakevan.
"Katie" running bunker first
now in the very impressive
park.
